This policy explains how CRAWLSPACE ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app and this website (crawlspace-game.web.app), and what choices you have.

1. Information the app collects

None. CRAWLSPACE works entirely offline. It doesn't ask for an account, your name, your email, your location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone or your camera. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software, and it doesn't link to or share data with any third party. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

The app doesn't need any device permissions. In the App Store, CRAWLSPACE's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

2. Information stored only on your device

The app saves your settings (look sensitivity, volume and brightness) on your iPhone so they're there next time. This file never leaves your device and we can't access it. Deleting the app deletes it.

The game's privacy policy and terms buttons open this website in your browser. Once you're in the browser, this website's section of the policy applies (see section 5).

3. Apple

You download CRAWLSPACE from Apple's App Store, which is run by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics and crash reports, such as how many people downloaded the app or the device model when a crash happened. These don't identify you, and you can switch this off at any time in those settings.

4. When you contact us

If you email us or use the contact form, we receive what you send: your name, email address, message and, if you add them, your iPhone model and iOS version. We use this only to reply to you and to fix the problem you report. We don't add you to mailing lists and we don't sell or share it.

• The contact form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards your message to our inbox.
• Our support inbox is a Google Gmail account (crawlspace.support@gmail.com), covered by Google's privacy policy.
• We keep support emails for up to 12 months so we can follow up, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

5. This website

This website has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking cookies. It is hosted by Google Firebase Hosting, which (like any web server) processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address when your browser requests the fonts. See Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children

CRAWLSPACE is a horror game and is not directed to children. The app collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent where you live) through the contact form. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you (in practice, only support messages you've sent us). Email crawlspace.support@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

California residents

Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information, and have not done so in the past 12 months.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

When you contact us, we process your message on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We're based in the United States, and our email and hosting providers may process data in the United States.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the app ever starts collecting data, we'll update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that happens.
